Ref ID: 01380-0011441323 Classification: Accounts Receivable Clerk Compensation: $40000.00 to $50000.00 yearly Robert Half Finance & Accounting is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst for a client in the northwest suburbs. As a member of our highly successful team of A/R Analysts, you will be part of a collaborative, focused, data-driven team where you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the success of our company, and your career. The A/R Analyst (aka Credit & Collections Research Analyst) reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for analyzing data gathered through IT automation and their own research, to validate and monetize deductions, using problem solving skills to identify recovery opportunities and submit disputes on behalf of our clients. Other key responsibilities include: - Maintaining data on proprietary systems as well as customer portals such as Vendor Central, Partners Online, Retail Link, SupplierNet and ePASS. - Meticulously analyzing customer remittances and deduction documentation. - Extensive email and phone communication - Handling multiple responsibilities and consistently following high standards of business/professional ethics when dealing with others and performing work activities Successful Accounts Receivable Analyst will have the following: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Good verbal and written communication skills - Highly motivated, organized, reliable and detail-oriented - Can-do attitude with ability to work independently within a team environment - Problem solver with strong analytical skills - Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced, innovative environment - Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred, but not required - A/R Deduction knowledge a plus, but not required - Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is a plus, but not required - Must maintain client confidentiality Job Requirements: Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections - Commercial, MS Excel, SAP Robert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled finance and accounting professionals in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
